I'm not gonna fade as soon as you close your eyes....

Oh my god today was WONDERFUL. Basically an ideal health day. I was pretty tired, but that's alright. I powered through :)

Day two of sugar free is going well! I don't really even crave it. And yes, I'm still eating natural sugar, but only three fruits a day. So a small amount of it.

I already feel like I have more energy, and I can already taste other foods a little bit better. Love this :)

Intake

Breakfast

Banilla smoothie (1 tbsp vanilla, 1 banana, 1 cup of whole milk, and 1 1/2 cups spinach) - 265 cals

Snack

Unsalted pretzels - 110 cals

Lunch

Pistachios - 160 cals
Apple - 130 cals
Carrots - 35 cals

Snack

2 pieces of string cheese - 160 cals

Dinner

Large salad w/ 2 oz. cheddar cheese and 1 tbsp olive oil - 360 cals
1 cup of watermelon - 80 cals

Snack

1 cup of plain yogurt - 120 cals
Unsalted pretzels - 110 cals

Total Intake: 1530 Calories

Exercise

1 hour of treadmill/elliptical/bike work - 386 cals burned
45 minute Bootcamp class - 470 cals burned
25 minutes of weight machines - 112 cals burned
45 minutes of yoga - 168 cals burned
20 minute walk/bike cooldown - 35 cals burned

Total Burned: 1171 Calories

Over three hours of exercise, five servings of fruits/veggies, and 96oz of water. I feel like today was successful :)

I feel like I kind of worked out TOO much "/ I don't feel sore (yet) but that seems like SO many calories burned, and I would eat more but I'm just full. I'll just make tomorrow an easy day :) Just my yoga thank you.

Which, by the way, looooove my yoga. 45 minutes per morning, and I feel AMAZING all day :) Would definitely recommend it.

And guess who lost almost seven percent body fat? This bitch!

I'm now at 30.3% body fat. Just .4% away from being out of the 30's :) I'm sooooooooo thrilled! Had NO idea I'd lost that much.

Yay me :)

By the way, Bootcamp kicked my ASS! I have NEVER worked out that hard; it was so difficult, my muscles ached and I was breathing heavier than I ever have, but I refused to quit or slow down too much. I just told myself over and over "Your body isn't quitting, your mind is. Shut it up and just do it." And it very much worked. I feel great.

Reading a book, "What Would Jesus Eat? : The ultimate program for eating well, feeling great, and living longer" by Don Colbert, M.D.

Christian or not (I'm not), GREAT book. It's all about how people were so much healthier back in the biblical days, and Jesus ate such a healthy, balanced diet. And people follow the other teachings of the bible, why not the nutritional aspects?

I would most certainly recommend it to everyone of every religion, it's just generally good. The whole point it to ask yourself two questions before eating:

1. Why am I eating?
and
2. Would Jesus eat this?

Great book, great concept.

That is all. I'm exhausted and still need a shower. And side note, one of my wisdom teeth is coming in and it's making my whole mouth hurt. It sucks ass.

Hope all is well!

Great intake! I would eat more protein especially since you're going to be hitting the gym and all that. Some greek yogurt, chicken, fish, etc. Spinach has a lot of nutritional values and iron but the body can't absorb all that iron and such from a plant, which is why we're carnivores. I see you're doing the six small meals a day, seems to be working great for you. Congrats on the fat percent going down! I think once you go below 31 or 32% you're not considered obese and it's acceptable fat. That's a huge accomplishment! =D

Thx for the support luv. that's cool you're trying the sugar free thing, getting your body back in tune to be satisfied with natural sugars. I wonder if maybe i have a lack of energy cuz i haven't been eating much fruit. I like that activity fuels more activity quote..so true!

I think that it's a great idea that you did extreme workout today and are doing yoga tomorrow. You are going to confuse the heck out of your muscles and thats how they burn the most fat. You are doing amazing, you are going to see serious results and 7% body fat? Woah! That's so hard to do, but you earned it because you are kicking butt.

That book sounds kind of like the paleo diet. I would like to read it though.
Glad you had such a kick ass day :) hope many more follow..

Also, was the smoothie good? did you mind the spinach? I finally have baby spinach and I'm still too nervous to put it in my smoothies!

Oh my gosh! You are doing SO well!
You did an AMAZING job today- I really want to try the no sugar for a week, maybe early September? What are you eating while you do this? Sugar is super sneaky- it's even in salty foods like pasta sauce and ketchup!
Love the pictures, and your positive and inspirational attitude! :)
Thank you for yet another incredible post darlin
